Linguine and eggs.
This is a good meal for dinner or lunch.

What you need:
Linguine – 3 eggs – butter – olive oil
garlic powder -Parmesan cheese

Boil the linguine noodles in your cast iron dutch oven
until just tender. Add 1 tablespoon of butter, olive
oil to taste and garlic powder. Keep warm. In you cast
iron skillet fry 3 eggs sunny side up. Make sure the yokes
stay very runny. Put linguine on a plate, put eggs on top and
add Parmesan  cheese. It’s simple, very tasty and takes no
time at all to make.

When It’s To Cold To Barbecue

Posted on 15 March 2012 by Mark

If it’s to cold to barbecue outside and you are craving
a steak, the remedy is simple. I will just cook the steak
in my cast iron dutch oven in my kitchen. Why a dutch
oven verses a skillet? I like the dutch oven because the
sides are much higher than a skillet and the grease will
not splatter all over your stove, making clean up much
simpler and quicker. I’ll cut up some onion, maybe a
little green pepper and garlic, add it to the dutch oven
with some olive oil and butter and then cook it on
medium until medium rare. Don’t wait for better weather
or waste a steak in the oven, you will enjoy it this way.
